Description
In 1797 George Festetics built the luxury yacht “Phoenix”. Phoenix there was a big ship (16 rowers, 31.5 meters long)
Front: The front of this silver coin has the mandatory elements: the denomination 2000 Forint, the mint mark BP., the date 1998 and the legend Magyar Köztársaság, along with a landscape from the Tihany-peninsula with sailing boats.
Back:The coin back has an contemporary illustration of the sailing boat Phoenix launched in 1797.
