Description
The WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) is the world’s largest non-governmental nature protection organisation and is active in 96 countries. It has been active in Hungary as the WWF foundation since 1991 and was classified as a priority non-profit organisation in 1998.
Front: The front of this silver coin has the mandatory elements: the denomination 2000 Forint, the mint mark BP., the date 1998, the legend Magyar Köztársaság and the designer’s mark, along with WWF’s official logo.
Back:The back has a pair of barn swallows feeding their young and the legend ‘HIRUNDO RUSTICA’.
