Description

The third coin in the series Hungarian Castles
Countess Ilona Zrínyi IV (1643 or 1652-1703), a heroine of Hungarian history and the mother of Ferenc Rákóczi II, and the Castle of Munkács both figure on this exquisite silver coin.

Front: In addition to the mandatory elements (the denomination: 5000 FORINT, the legend: MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG, the mint mark: BP. and the date: 2006), the front of the coin bears a portrait of Ilona Zrínyi in an ornate, oval frame.
Back:The back has the legend “MUNKÁCSI VÁR”, along with a depiction of the Castle of Munkács.
