Description
The collector coins were issued in the Year of the Hungarian Language, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ferenc Kazinczy.
Front: In addition to the standard design elements (the denomination: 50000, the legend: Republic of Hungary, the mint mark: BP and the date of issue: 2009), the obverse of the coin features a paper scroll and a quill bound in the middle by a string loop, enclosed in a bright rectangle.
Back:The reverse bears the portrait of Ferenc Kazinczy, with the legend reading ‘KAZINCZY FERENC 1759-1831’. The designer’s signature mark is positioned on the right of the portrait.
