Description
Coin set, in official mint folder commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1956 revolution. The coin set contains the complete denominations of the 2006 circulation forint coins: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 HUF. The 50 forint coin in the circulation line is a commemorative version. The side of the coin showing its face value is the same as the HUF 50 coin currently in circulation, while the other side shows the House of Parliament from the Danube with the Hungarian national flag with a hole cut in its centre in the foreground. The new side of the coin was designed by István Kósa. The inscription on the circulation coins reads “Hungarian Republic”. Mint mark: BP. Quality: PP
