Description
Charles IV was crowned King of Hungary in the Matthias Church in Buda’s Castle District on 30 December 1916. To mark the 100th anniversary of this important event, the Hungarian Mint is commemorating Hungary’s last king by issuing copies of the 10-fillér (1917), 50-fillér (1918) and 1-korona (1917) coins, of which only trials were minted.
