Description
2002 on the occasion of the bicentenary of Lajos Kossuth’s birth the Magyar Nemzeti Bank issued a commemorative variation of the HUF 100 circulation coin.
Front: The Hungarian coat of arms is replaced on the thematic side by the portrait of Kossuth depicted on the 1946 five-forint coin.
Back: The side of the coin showing its face value is the same as that of the HUF 100 coin currently in circulation.
