Picture colour printing

We recommend our colour printing service, depicting a portrait or other image, for customers who wish to create a truly unique, one-of-a-kind minted medal as a personal gift.

To meet such needs, we offer pre-struck medals with a matte printable surface. These medals partly feature pre-minted motifs and include a special matte area suitable for applying a photograph. The image is printed onto the medal using UV printing technology.

Colour printing costs HUF 10,000 / side (gross).

The cost of colour printing is in addition to the price of the selected medal. Colour printing can be ordered in our webshop by selecting the option “Would you like colour printing on the medal?” on the product page and choosing “Yes.” The image required for printing can be submitted via the upload form provided. The service can only be used after logging into your account and selecting the appropriate options.

A photograph or digital file is required for colour printing. Digital images must be at least 1000 × 1000 pixels, with a resolution of at least 240 dpi, in .jpg (JPEG) format. Please avoid strong file compression, as it may reduce image quality.

Colour printing is available exclusively for orders placed through our webshop.

For our special-occasion medals featuring a decorative minted border pattern, colour printing can be applied to one side, while the other side can be either engraved with text or printed with a colour image. The cost of text engraving on such medals is HUF 7,000 / side (gross); further details can be found in the Engraving menu.

The production time for colour printing is approximately 7 working days from receipt of the order.
