Description
The Hungarian engineer Tivadar Puskás (1844-1893) was the inventor of the telephone newspaper, which was first known electronic news and entertainment provider in the world, the predecessor of radio and the Internet. It was invented and patented by Tivadar Puskás. His invention was put to work in Budapest for the first time ever in the world, in 1893.
Front: The quadrangular commemorative coin has the mandatory elements on the front: the legend “MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG”, the denomination, the date and the mint mark.
Back:On the back, the legend “A TELEFON HÍRMONDÓ FELTALÁLÓJA PUSKÁS TIVADAR” surrounds the inventor using the telephone newspaper.
